• The Sports Illustrated For Kids Kick-It 3v3 Tour runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16, at the US Cellular Soccer Complex, 875 Cornerstone Dr. Soccer players of all ages and abilities are invited to participate. This is a national soccer tournament visiting more than 60 markets in the United States between the months of May and December providing athletes with a fast-paced, high-scoring and skill-enhancing style of play unmatched in a traditional soccer setting. Athletes and spectators alike become an integral part of the energized competition. Kick-It offers more than 25 divisions for male, female and coed teams ages 6 to 30-plus. Cost is $150 for all divisions. All spectators are welcome free of charge. To register, visit www.KickIt3v3.com or call 1-888-997-PLAY (7529). Deadline to register is at 5 p.m., Monday, July 10. An opportunity exists to qualify for the 2006 World Championships hosted by Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex in Orlando.

• The Maryville College Fighting Scots football team will sponsor the Fighting Scots Kick-off Golf Tournament Saturday, July 22, at Royal Oaks Golf Course in Maryville. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by a 1 p.m. lunch. A shotgun start will begin at 2 p.m. A social in the clubhouse will follow the tournament. Cost is $65 and will cover lunch, greens fees, carts, and prizes. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 20. Call the football office at 865-981-8282 to register or for more information.

• CBFO Volleyball Fall Season registration is going on now. Forms may be picked up at Pak Mail in Farragut (Farragut Towne Square) and returned to the same location. Registrations will also be in the schools by the beginning of the 2006-07 school year. Registration deadline is Sept. 1. Girls volleyball is now available for third- through 12th- grade. Boys volleyball is now available for sixth- through ninth-grade. Practice gyms are Farragut Middle School, Hardin Valley
