June rite unites Koch, Odom
Jessica Michelle Koch of Knoxville and Vernon Mitchell Odom of Summerville, S.C., were married Saturday, June 17, at Farragut Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Cook officiated.

The bride, daughter of Tom and Sharon Koch of Knoxville, is the granddaughter of Rosanne Koch of Hernando, Miss., and the late Robert Koch, formerly of Memphis, and the late Ralph and Lorraine Rockwood, both formerly of Chattanooga.

The groom, son of Ricky and Linda Odom of Summerville, is grandson of Velma Joyner of North Charleston, S.C., and the late Robert Joyner.

Erin Jackson of Knoxville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Britney Camden of Chattanooga, Jessica Carfolite of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Kinsey Cooper of Easley, S.C. and Frances Delaney of Orangeburg, S.C.

Best men were Ricky Odom of Summerville and Eric Odom of Savannah, Ga. Groomsmen were David Gardner of Orlando, Fla., and Scott Koch of Knoxville.

The bride, a 2001 Farragut High School graduate, attends the University of South Carolina and will graduate in May 2007 with a doctorate in pharmacy.

The groom, a 2001 graduate of Summerville High School, received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of South Carolina in 2004.

He is now a law enforcement agent in South Carolina. He is pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice at the University of South Carolina.

The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica, and now lives in Anderson, S.C.


Davy, Moore plan nuptials for August
Gene and Sarah Davy of Knoxville announce the engagement of their daughter, Carol Ann Davy, to Nathan Wayne Moore, son of Dave and Lea Ann Pool of Knoxville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of John and Thelma Burleson of Lenoir City and Bill and Betty Davy of Oak Ridge.

A 2002 Farragut High School graduate, she received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from The University of Tennessee in 2006 and is a claims representative at Whirlpool.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Wayne and Wilma Clem of Maryville, David and Karen Moore of Seacrest, Fla., and Kathryn Haywood of Prestonburg, Ky.

He is a 2000 graduate of Central High School in Evansville, Ind.

He received a bachelor’s degree in aviation from Middle Tennessee State University in 2004 and is a flight instructor at Volunteer Aviation.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 12, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. After a honeymoon trip to La Jolla, Calif., the newlyweds will reside in Knoxville.
