Free monthly network planned

Knoxville’s historic neighborhoods are becoming some of the area’s most popular places to live.

That trend has led to an increase in the number of new homes built on vacant lots in those neighborhoods.

Knox Heritage’s Preser-vation Network presents a free monthly workshop for those interested in historic renovation and preservation.

The gatherings are held on the second Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. at the Time Warp Tea Room, 1209 N. Central, in Historic Old North Knoxville.

The event is free and open to the public.
