Moore earn scholarship

Nicholas Moore, a 2006 Farragut High School graduate, has accepted Maryville College’s Distinguished Scholarship and plans to enroll at the private liberal arts college this fall as a member of the class of 2010.
Moore, son of Edward and Lori Moore of Farragut, excelled in math and science, had a 3.65 grade-point-average and was a member of the National Honors Society.
He was also a 2004 and 2005 All-Region 2-5A runningback on the FHS football team.
Guidelines show that the Distinguished Scholarship is awarded to those students with proven academic ability.
