Brown, McCollister plan to wed Sept. 23
Ronald J. and Joyce (Joy) A. Brown of Kingston announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Amanda Christine-Joy Brown, to Don E. (Trey) McCollister III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don E. McCollister of Loudon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wesley of Oakdale and of Alya Dean Brown of Harriman.

The intended groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry North of Loudon and Mrs. Marie McCollister and the late Don E. McCollister, also of Loudon.

The couple plans to wed Saturday, Sept. 23. The wedding will be at Misty Mountain Wedding Chapel.

After a honeymoon trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla., the couple will reside in Loudon.


Gennoe, Klitzner set wedding for Sept. 30
David and Gerry Gennoe of Knoxville announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Janet April Gennoe, to Kurt Gibson Klitzner, son of Harry and Ann Klitzner of Costa Mesa, Calif.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Joe and Mary Sue Gennoe of Decatur and the late Hobson Mansfield and Hazel Mansfield Perkins of Chattanooga.

A 1989 Farragut High School graduate, she received a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Tennessee.

She is marketing director for Palomar Pomerado Health in San Diego, Calif.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Charles and Margaret Klitzner of Chicago, Ill., and the late Emmet and Emma Gibson of Holton, Mich.

A 1979 graduate of Estancia High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1984 from the University of California at Los Angeles.

He has a master’s degree in accounting in 1996 from San Diego State University.

He is controller for Invensys Systems, Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif.

The couple plans a 6 p.m. wedding ceremony, Saturday, Sept. 30, at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville.

After a honeymoon trip to Tahiti in French Polynesia, the couple will reside in San Diego.


Kangles, Key plan to marry
Mr. and Mrs. George Kangles of Signal Mountain announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Yasmine Alicia Kangles, to Jason Ryan Key, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Key of Knoxville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jessie Kadrie and the late Ali Kadrie of Ontario, Canada, and Anne and Harry G. Kangles of Saskatchewan, Canada.

A 1999 graduate of The Baylor School in Chattanooga, she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2003 from Auburn University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

A registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at TC Thompson Children’s Hospital, she is pursuing a master’s in nursing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and plans to become a family nurse practitioner.

The intended groom is the grandson of Socorro P. Hernandez and the late Dolores Hernandez of Moriarty, N.M., and the late Amza A. and Alice Faye Key of Albuquerque, N.M.

A 1997 Farragut High School graduate, he received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering management in 2003 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He is employed as a freight broker in the Xpress Direct Division of of U.S. Express Enterprises.

The couple plans to wed at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 2., at The Baylor School in Chattanooga.

After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Chattanooga.
