• The inaugural Brett LeSueur Vision Fore the Future Charity Golf Tournament will tee-off at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, at Centennial Golf Course in Oak Ridge. Cost is $75 per person, $300 per team. Sponsorship amounts run from $50 to $2,500, and cash donations are welcome. A buffet lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 865-483-2291 or 865-577-2126. Proceeds go to visually-impaired children and adults by providing equipment and services.

• Saving Little Hearts, whose mission is to assist children with congenital heart defects along with their families, is planning a miniature golf tournament Oct. 14 at Sir Goony’s Golf in Farragut. Corporate sponsorships are encouraged, and companies can be an event sponsor ($1,000) or simply sponsor a hole ($150 per hole). • Herb Newton Nissan in Oak Ridge announces that former UT standout quarterback Dewey “The Swamp Rat” Warren will host a sports talk radio show on Horne Radio Network at the dealership. The show, “Let’s Talk Football,” will air 1 to 3 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and noon to 2 p.m., Saturdays beginning Monday, Aug. 28, on WKVL 850 AM. Warren will focus on East Tennessee high school and college football with special pre-game and post-game analysis of all UT games plus other sports.
