April rite unites Bailey, Harmon
Lindsey Lauren Bailey of Knoxville and Richard Bradley Harmon of Germantown were wed Saturday, April 22, at Germantown United Methodist Church.

Dr. Donald Wright officiated.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bailey and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dempsey of Knoxville, is granddaughter of Mrs. Dicie Neal of Dothan, Ala.

A 2000 Farragut High School graduate, she graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2004 with a degree in service management.

She directs membership and development for the Memphis Area Homebuilders Association.

The groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harmon of Germantown, is a 2000 graduate of Germantown High School and 2005 University of Tennessee graduate with a degree in business and economics. He is construction superintendent for Chamberlain and McCreery, Inc.

Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Jennifer Hunter of Knoxville, and the maid of honor was Amanda Rowland of Knoxville. Bridesmaids were Julie Arms of Knoxville, Renee Bailey of Palmetto, Fla., the bride’s sister-in-law, Morgan Feather and Lindsey Fritzgerald, both of Knoxville, Jessica Harmon of Germantown, Courtney Keck of Cleveland, Erica Olaechea of Knoxville, Kati Weymouth of Collierville and Michelle Witten of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Elizabethton. Best man was Ryan Harmon of Germantown. Groomsmen were Chris Bailey of Palmetto, the bride’s brother, John Bennett of Germantown, Charlie Black of Cordova, Will Chamberlain, Glenn Gyro, Tim Hickey, Wes Hostetler, James Wharton and Lawrence Laurenzi, all of Germantown, and Tyke Swisher and Chris Wimbs of Cordova.

Flower girl was the bride’s niece, Lauren Hunter of Knoxville. Vocalist was Mckenzie Thorpe of Knoxville. After their honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Cordova.

Rebecky, Bolus to wed Oct. 7
Frank and Terri Rebecky of Tampa, Fla., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelly Lee Rebecky, to David Matthew Bolus of Farragut.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joseph and Margaret Rebecky of Wallington, N.J., and of Bill Dye of Texas and Wanda Leon of Tampa.

A 1994 graduate of Tampa’s H.B. Plant High School, the bride-elect graduated in 1998 from Carson-Newman College with a bachelor’s degree in art. She received a master’s degree in teacher education from The University of Tennessee and now teaches art at St. Stephen Middle School located in St. Stephen, S.C.

The prospective groom is grandson of the late Paul Bolus of Melbourne Beach, Fla., and the late Dorothy Bolus of Louisville, Ky., and the late Kirk and Virginia Williams of Louisville, Ky.

A 1995 Farragut High School graduate, he graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He received degrees in cuisine and patisserie from Le Cordon Bleu in London, England and is now sous chef in the Ocean Room at the Sanctuary Hotel on Kiawah Island, S.C.

The couple plans a Saturday, Oct. 7, wedding on Kiawah Island. After a European honeymoon trip, they will reside in Charleston, S.C.

Findley, Blackburn united in May rite
Katherine Cecile Findley and Brandon Christopher Blackburn were married Saturday, May 20, at All Saints Catholic Church in Knoxville with the Rev. Joe Campbell officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Melissa Findley of Farragut.

Her grandparents are Jeff and Katherine Little of Castleberry, Ala., Albert Findley Sr., of Foley, Ala., and Mary Jane Arrington and the late William Arrington of Corpus Christi, Texas.

The groom is the son of Edward and Susie Blackburn of Farragut.

His grandparents are Glenn and Betty Blackburn and Lucille Barbour and the late Graham Barbour, all of Newport News, Va.

Maid of honor was Mary Findley of Farragut. Bridesmaids were Andrea Folkins of Crossville, Paige Parrish of Louisville, Ky., Amy Giannelli of Oak Ridge, and Anju Singhal of Knoxville.

Best man was Logan Blackburn, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Thiago Buchert of Maryville, Matt Findley of Knoxville, Brian Kuzara of San Diego, Calif., and Jeff Watkins of Maryville.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Farragut High School. She graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology. She is attending graduate school at the University of Albany in New York.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Farragut High School. He graduated from Maryville College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He is also attending graduate school at the University of Albany.

The newlyweds honeymooned in McDowell Mountains, Ariz., and they are residing in Albany.

Gennoe, Klitzner plan to wed
David and Gerry Gennoe of Knoxville announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Janet April Gennoe, to Kurt Gibson Klitzner, son of Harry and Ann Klitzner of Costa Mesa, Calif.

The bride-elect is granddaughter of the late Joe and Mary Sue Gennoe of Decatur and the late Hobson Mansfield and Hazel Mansfield Perkins of Chattanooga.

A 1989 Farragut High School graduate, she received a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Tennessee.

She is marketing director for Palomar Pomerado Health in San Diego, Calif.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Charles and Margaret Klitzner of Chicago, Ill., and the late Emmet and Emma Gibson of Holton, Mich.

He is a 1979 graduate of Estancia High School.

He received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1984 from the University of California at Los Angeles.

He also received a master’s degree in accounting in 1996 from San Diego State University.

He is controller for Invensys Systems, Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif.

The couple plans a 6 p.m. wedding ceremony, Saturday, Sept. 30, at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville.

After a honeymoon trip to the island of Tahiti, in French Polynesia, the couple will make their home in San Diego.
