Former Farragut High School players, past and present FHS administrators, area leaders and family members were on hand at Bill Clabo Field Friday evening, Sept. 15, to honor former coach and teacher Lendon Welch (blue shirt in front), as the drive from Kingston Pike to FHS has been named Lendon Welch Way. Back row, left to right, is Tyler Mowery, grandson; Glen Harness and Hop Campbell, FHS alumni and former players under Welch, and Dwayne Simmons, FHS assistant principal.
