Champs honored with rings


Flashing their new state championship rings during a halftime recognition at the Farragut versus McMinn County high school football game Friday, Sept 14, are 22 of the 29 FHS baseball players and coaches who brought home the programís third Class AAA state crown in four seasons last spring. Players (including those not pictured and in no particular order) are Ryan Bentley, Rob Catapano, Lawson Cheek, Tyler Duke, Chip Eskew, Michael Joseph, Sam Judkins, Ty Nelson, Bryan Powell, David Reynolds, Perry Griffin, Stephen Guerrette, James Hebbeler, Barton Ivy, Jordan Pleasant, Jay Pannell, Zack Allen, Joey Delmonico, Shane Glarrow, Andrew Martland, Matt Ramsey, Michael Williams, Jordan Cooper, Curt Powell, Cade Stallings and Mack Thoreson. Coaches are led by head coach Tommy Pharr (far left) and assistants Rob Bell and Brian McCord. A 30th ring went to FHS athletic trainer Lisa Hearnsberger.
