Beth Chaney, an American Softball Association umpire who regularly did her thing at CBFO Softball games in 2006, receives an “appreciation plaque” from league leaders during season-ending ceremonies last June. One of those leaders is Jerome Moore (above with Chaney), commissioner of the 5-to-7-Year-Old League and head coach of the Marlins.
