BHS soccer gets rings, remembers Hinkle

Thirty-eight of 42 people associated with the 2006 Bearden High School Class AAA state champion SoccerDawgs received their championship rings, estimated to cost about $180 each according to BHS head coach Eric Turner, during halftime of the Central-BHS football game Friday, Sept. 22. But on the minds of most coaches and players was former All-state midfielder, the late Andrew Hinkle, remembered with commemorative T-shirts printed in his honor. Andrew, Class of 2006, died last summer.
