Kisner, Travis wed at Christ Covenant
Julie Ann Kisner and Timothy David Travis, both of Knoxville, were married Saturday, June 24, in an evening service at Christ Covenant Church in Knoxville.

Rev. James Dallery officiated.

The bride, the daughter of Roger and Mary Ann Kisner of Knoxville, is the granddaughter of William Miller of Newport, Va., and the late Margie Miller, and of Odessa Kisner of Arlington, Va., and the late Ray Kisner.

A 2002 graduate of Berean Christian High School, she graduated in 2003 from the Tennessee School of Beauty with a degree in aesthetics.

She is now is an asthetician at Oasis Day Spa in Knoxville.

The groom is the son of Lois Smith of Knoxville and James Travis of Atlanta, Ga.

He is the grandson of Jessie Smith of Knoxville.

A 2001 Karns High School graduate, he attends Pellissippi State Technical Community College.

He will graduate in 2007 with an associate of applied science degree in computer automated drafting.

He is now a dispatcher at Twin City Buick.

Stephanie Evans of Knoxville was maid of honor. James Travis, brother of the groom, was best man. Ashlynn Travis was flower girl.

After a honeymoon in Orlando and St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., the couple will reside in Knoxville.


Hines, Dykes wed in May rite
Dr. Dana Michelle (Chelly) Hines and Adam Morgan Dykes were married Saturday, May 27, at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. Officiating were the Rev. Thomas Kirkland, grandfather of the groom, and the Rev. Jim Wright.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hines of Knoxville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John V. Hines of New Albany, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Anthony of Fisherville.

The groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Dykes of Centre, Ala., is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Dykes of Ashford, Ala., and the Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Kirkland of Abbeville, Ala.

The bride, a 1998 graduate of Farragut High School, graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2002 with degrees in neuroscience and French.

A 2006 University of Alabama School of Medicine graduate, she is a pediatric resident at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

The groom, a 1997 graduate of Cherokee High School in Centre, Ala., graduated from Auburn University in 2002 with a degree in engineering. He is a design engineer with Sain Associates, Inc. of Birmingham, Ala.

Maid of Honor was Dr. Amber Standridge of Washington, D.C. Bridesmaids were Sara Cooper of Tampa, Fla., Shalini Shantharaju and Courtney Cronley, both of Knoxville, Alissa Carver of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Stacey Wade and Dr. Anna Ostrom, both of Birmingham. Junior bridesmaids were Christine McKinney and Courtney Bandy of Memphis. Anna Kathryn Allen of Centre was flower girl.

Best man was Morgan Dykes, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Andrew Dykes of Panama City, Fla., brother of the groom; Dr. John Witt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Howard Cowser of Rainbow City, Ala., Tyler Lumsden of Auburn, Ala., Charles King of Wetumpka, Ala., and Matthew Allen of Atalla, Ala. Honorary junior groomsman was Drew Keough of Cordova. Connor Rachael of Knoxville was ring bearer. Following a honeymoon on St. Lucia, the couple is at home in Birmingham.


Henegar, White wed on World’s Fair site
Holly Vivian Henegar and Kevin Michael White were married July 15 at the Foundry on the World’s Fair Site in a ceremony officiated by Craig Lindsey.

The bride is the daughter of Allen and Judie Henegar of Farragut. She is the granddaughter of Vivian Gordon and the late John R. Gordon of Oak Ridge, and Lorene Henegar and the late Victor Henegar of Lafollette.

The groom, the son of Mickey and Sharon White of Farragut, is the grandson of Willard and Vanda Johnson and the late Betty Johnson of St. Charles, Mo., and Carlton White and the late Jean White of Gainesville, Fla.

Maid of honor was Laura Felker of Mt. Juliet. Bridesmaids were Cindy Carnes, Carol Davy Moore, Jamie Joseph and Rachel Jenkins, all of Knoxville. Best man was Sean Timberlake of Mt. Juliet. Groomsmen were Kris White and Aaron Whaley of Knoxville, David Simpson of Auburn, Ala., and Will Childress of Lafayette. Flower girl was Maya Letellier of Seattle, Wash. Ringbearers were Bryce, Ty and Jaxon Seritt of Knoxville.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Farragut High School. She graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in secondary education. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education and is teaching Spanish at Bearden High School.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Farragut High School. He graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a concentration in information management. He is currently pursuing a CPA license.

The newlyweds honeymooned at Walt Disney World and Clearwater Beach, Fla. They are making their home in Knoxville.


Ballard, Taylor exchange vows
Jessica Ann Ballard, daughter of William and Dorothy Ballard of Springfield, Ky., and Ryan Jay Taylor, son of Jay and Charlotte Taylor of Knoxville, were married Saturday, June 24, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Springfield. Father Stephen Hayes officiated.

The bride, a 1996 graduate of Washington County High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehead State University in 2002. She is a teacher at Halls High School.

The groom, a 1997 Farragut High School graduate, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moorehead State University in 2004.

He is a sales associate at Ultimate Sports.

Sally Ballard of Cincinnati, Ohio, was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jane Carmola of Bardstown, Ky., Renne Willett of Louisville, Ky., Melanie Eicher and Christie Osbourne, both of Springfield, and Kristen Ware of Louisville.

Brad Jones of Fort Myers, Fla., was the groom’s best man.

Groomsmen were Bryan Stokely of Knoxville, Landon Shewmaker of Nashville, Rudy Smith of Chicago, Ill., Brent Watts of Knoxville and Bill Ballard of Miami, Fla.

After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nev., the couple resides in Knoxvlle.


McKee, Levine marry in May
Crystal Lynn McKee and Michael Hudes Levine were married on Friday, May 19, in the Latter Day Saints temple, Atlanta, Ga.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Dinah Rainwater of Oak Ridge and Bill and Meloney McKee of Caryville.

Her grandparents are Margaret Brakebill and the late Robert Brakebill of Farragut and the late A.C. and Fifi McKee of Knoxville.

The groom is the son of Ellis and Katheryne Levine of Oak Ridge and Andrea Milano of Atlanta.

His grandparents are David and Susan Levine of Virginia Beach, Va., and Wanda Barron and the late Bill Barron of Oak Ridge.

Maid of honor was Christy Neihoff of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Russell of Powell, sister of the bride, Rebecca Vandiver of Milton, Pa., Christi Connelly of Oak Ridge and Lauren Scott of Nashville.

Best Man was Ellis Levine, father of the groom.

Groomsmen were Devnol Tobias of Woodbridge, Va., Jared Dayley and Ardell Dayley of Oak Ridge and brothers of the groom, and Julio Valdez of Oak Ridge.

Ushers were David Kennedy, brother-in-law of the groom, and Matt Jones, cousin of the groom.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

She graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting.

She is now employed as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Energy.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1998 to 2003 and is currently a full-time student at The University of Tennessee.

Following their honeymoon trip to the Hawaiian Islands, the couple now resides in Knoxville.


Kois, Koessler unite in June during services in Knoxville
Michaela Anne Kois of Knoxville and Ensign Joseph Jason Koessler of Farragut were married Saturday, June 10.

The wedding took place during an evening ceremony held at All Saints Catholic Church in Knoxville.

The Rev. Chris Michelson officiated at the srevice.

The bride is the daughter of James P. and Mary E. Kois of Knoxville.

She is the granddaughter of the late Harry V. and Esther E. Neill and the late Paul J. and Agnes Kois, all of Buffalo, N.Y.

A 2002 Bearden High School graduate, she received a bachelor’s degree of human ecology in interior design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2006.

She is now an interior designer with the Kremer Design Group and the Sienna Co.

The groom is the son of H. Joseph and Susan Koessler of Farragut.

He is the grandson of Bernadette Tashner of San Diego, Calif., and the late Albert Taschner, and of the late Harry and Essie Koessler, both of Springdale, Pa.

He is a 2002 Farragut High School graduate.

He graduated in 2006 from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md. He now has a a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

An ensign in the U.S. Navy, he now attends the U.S. Naval Post-Graduate School headquartered in Monterey.

Matron of honor for the wedding was Megan Koch of Atlanta, Ga.

Bridesmaids were Kristen Calloway of Chattanooga, Erin House, Amelia Steele and Rachel Goetz, all of Knoxville, Denise Koessler of Farragut, Nicole Pillatsch of Nashville and Ens. Lindsay Chittenden of Tempe, Ariz.

Emma Calloway of Chattanooga was the flower girl.

Best man was U.S. Navy Ensign David Koeppel of Aurora, Colo.

Groomsmen included U.S. Marine Corps Second Lt. Mark Powers of Boston, Mass., and U.S. Navy Ensigns Ryan McGinn of Denver, Colo., Ryan Frantz of Severna Park, Md., D.J. Faldowski of Washington, Pa., Rich Eugenio and Taylor South, both of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jonathan Johnston of The Hamiltons, N.J.

After a honeymoon in Nassau, in the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Monterey.


Pullum, Coker set July 7 wedding date
Harry and Jane Pullum of Farragut announce he engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Connie Elizabeth Pullum, to Bradley Frazier Coker, the son of Charlie and Trudy Coker of Annapolis, Md.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Della McNabb of Newport.

A 2000 graduate of Farragut High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in English in 2004 from The University of Tennessee.

She received a master’s degree in education from Wake Forest University in 2005.

She is now a technology curriculum specialty for Charlotte Latin School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. William B. Jones of Annapolis and Anthony Bowers Coker of Ft. Meyers, Fla.

A 2000 graduate of Farragut High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004.

He is a loan officer for NVR Mortgage Co.

The couple plans a July 7 wedding at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C.

After a honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in Charlotte, N.C.

Amy Beth Dolk and Justin Kent Holcombe were married Sunday, May 21, in Milwaukee, Wis.

The bride is the daughter of Anastasia Stacie Dolk of Germantown, Wis., and John Titus Dolk of Milwaukee, Wis.

She is the granddaughter of Angie Patsavas of Chicago, Ill.

A 1997 graduate of Germantown (Wis.) High School, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics.

She is a dietitian in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The groom, a 1998 Farragut High School graduate, is the son of Cressie and Joselyn Holcombe of Farragut and the grandson of John B. and Lousie Brockman of Greer, S.C.

He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Tennessee at Chttanooga in 2001 and received a law degree from The Florida State University College of Law in December 2003.

He received a master’s degree in international and comparative law from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., in January 2005 and is now an attorney with the Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig LLP law firm in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Turner, King marry in spring ceremony
Lauren Michelle Turner and Thomas Blake King were married Saturday, May 20, at Farragut Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thom Nelson officiated.

The bride, daughter of Charles and Glenda Turner of Knoxville, is the granddaughter of Sara Kelly of Knoxville and Josie Turner of Maryville.

A 2001 Farragut High School graduate, she received a Business Administration degree from The University of Tennessee in 2005. She is a distribution analyst with Comag Marketing Group.

The groom, son of Paul and Debbi King of Knoxville, is grandson of Bob and Eileen King of Knoxville and Earl King of Port Charlotte, Fla.

A 2001 Farragut High School graduate, he has a Business Administration degree and received a master’s degree in Accountancy from The University of Tennessee in 2005. He is a staff accountant for Doctors Management LLC.

Maid of honor was Emily Martin, and matron of honor was Erica Warmack, both of Knoxville.

Bridesmaids were Heather King, Bobi King and Hope Ball, all of Knoxville; and flower girl was Sophia Schippers of Prospect, Ky.
