Oct. 23: An employee of D&C Construction reported to police that an unknown number of suspects made forced entry into a residence under construction located on Cool Springs Boulevard. The unknown suspects went to the electrical box located on the outside of the residence and ripped the electrical supply from the meter in hopes of disabling the alarm system and the infrared cameras. The suspects then used a 2x4 as a pry tool, wedged it under the garage door and pried it off the track. The suspects made entry into the residence. The complainant did not know what was taken. The reporting officer advised the complainant to ask the employees, make an inventory and call to add additional items, if any.

Oct. 24: A Malmsbury Road man reported to police that he ran out of gas and had to leave his vehicle on the side of the road on I-40 near Watt Road. The complainant advised that he went to get help and when he returned about two hours later the vehicle, a 1991 Nissan Sentra, had been stolen.
