Roach, Webb Spartan state champion Division II golfer, heading to Duke
Second-team AJGA All-American makes Blue Devil choice official Nov. 9

Wes Roach, Webb School of Knoxville senior golf standout, signed National Letter of Intent papers with Duke University Nov. 9 in Webb’s Lee Athletic Center.
Division II individual state champion and American Junior Golf Association second-team Rolex Junior All-American, Roach led his Spartan team to a runner-up finish at this year’s state golf tourney.
Roach also won his third consecutive medalist honor at the 2006 Division II-East Region golf tournament where Webb won the region crown over last year’s state champion and region winner Baylor.
