AquaDogs keep stroking along,


The successful strokes and dives continue for the Bearden AquaDogs after an easy dual meet victory versus West Sunday, Dec. 17, at The University of Tennessee Student Aquatic Center.

Bearden’s Tara Fentress led the way in the AquaDogs’ 241-107 win, taking first-place in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-free.

Top male divers for BHS were Kurtis Allen (170.55), James Dail (159.15) and Tim Hamrin (125.80).

Bearden’s top female divers were Tori Lamp (227.50), Carly Reed (176.20) and Ruth Hahn (174.40).

In a three-way meet victory Sunday, Dec 10, at UT, Bearden’s 197 points easily out-distanced Berean Christian School of Knoxville, 135, and Christian Academy of Knoxville, 101.

AquaDog double-winners were Cameron Higdon (50-free and 500-free) and Fentress (50-free and 100-free).
