Meehan 4-AAA soccer MVP; Rochester, Jarvis, Allen, Lindsay named superlatives

Senior midfielder Alex Meehan, a vital cog in Bearden’s journey to become Class AAA girls soccer state champion, has been named District 4-AAA Most Valuable Player in 2006. Lady SoccerDawg teammate Mary Alex Rochester was named 4-AAA Forward of the Year and was among seven Bearden players recognized as All-District.
District 4-AAA and Region 2-AAA champion Farragut earned a Class AAA state tourney berth behind the efforts of three superlative performances: Midfielder of the Year Kathleen Jarvis, Defender of the Year Serena Allen and Coach of the Year Dennis Lindsay.
Other Lady Admirals earning All-District honors were midfielders Casey Ulrich, goalkeeper Megan Buzzeo, defenders Alyssa Dresen and Mindy Hopkins, and forwards Morgan Plum and Emily Harris.
Other Lady SoccerDawgs earning All-District honors were midfielders Emily Bithorn and Amanda Barton, defenders Amy Porter and Hannah Rudder, and forward Sara Rochester.
