State champ Thornton inks with Mississippi State

Erika Thornton, 2006 Class AAA individual state champion golfer who helped lead the Farragut Lady Admirals to state crowns in 2006 and 2004, signed National Letter of Intent papers with Mississippi State during a brief signing ceremony in the FHS Commons Nov. 8. Seated, left, is Mike Driver, FHS golf head coach. Seated on either side of Thornton are parents Victoria and Samuel Thornton.
