FMS’s Harris ‘Twirltacular’ champion

Sarah Harris, an eighth-grader at Farragut Middle School, earned “Twirltacular” champion honors during a prestigious twirling tournament including a Southeastern U.S. field in Birmingham, Ala., Nov. 11. Sarah, 13, won in the 13-to-15 category and was crowned Solo Grand Champion in addition to Majorette Queen and Strut Queen. A member of the FMS Majorette squad, Sarah is coached by Kathy McCarrell, who assists coaching The University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band’s majorettes. Sarah’s parents are Tim and Robin Harris.
