• HUNLEY, Rossie Scarbrough,
age 67, of Knoxville passed away Friday evening, Dec. 29, 2006. Rossie was a member of Oral Baptist Church. She owned and operated Sassy’s Clothing in Lenoir City for many years. Rossie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hunley; granddaughter, Charity Harney; parents, Thomas M. and Margaret Cline Scarbrough; several brothers and sisters. Survivors: children, Debbie Adcox and husband, David, of Loudon, Teri Wallace and husband, Max, of Knoxville, Dianne Johnson and husband, Bryan, of Concord, Ted Hunley and wife, Beverly, of Farragut, Sandra Couch and husband, Terry, of Farragut, Doris Hunley-Best of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Chrystal Wallace, Desiree’ Dale, Carrie Johnson, Stephanie Hunley, Nicole Best and Catherine Hunley; great-grandson, Alex Dale; adopted in love, Debbie Christian and Stacy Conner; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. The family received friends Sunday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Family and friends gathered Monday at Abbot Cemetery for graveside services with the Rev. Jack Belcher officiating. • COOK, Robert Kennedy (Bob),
age 83, of Farragut, passed away Saturday morning, Dec. 30, 2006, at his home. Bob was a member of Lake View Baptist Church. He was retired from the City of Oak Ridge as a heavy equipment operator. Bob was preceded in death by his wives, Helen McDaniel Cook and Cecil Oglesby Cook; parents, Jim Cook and Mary Summey Cook; sisters, Lena Mitchell, Edith and Della Cook; brothers, Sam and Fred Cook. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carmon Cook of Farragut; grandchildren, Todd Cook of Knoxville, Scott Cook and wife, Gayla, of Abilene, Texas, Janie Stewart and husband, Stephen, of Lexington, Ky.; seven great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Tommy Sellers and Billie Jean Brown; brother, Everett Cook of Knoxville; sisters, Pearl Breeden and Mildred Cook, both of Blount County; several nieces and nephews. The family received friends Monday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Family and friends gathered Tuesday at Concord Masonic Cemetery for graveside services with the Rev.
