Bilsky, Wright wed at Samford
Kristina Marie Bilsky of Rochester, N.Y., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Bilsky, and Hunter Louis Wright of Knoxville, son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Wright Jr., were married May 27, 2006, at Reid Chapel on the Samford University campus in Birmingham, Ala.

Pastor Phil Olsen of Cross Connection Church in Buford, Ga., officiated.

Rudy Brannon and Miriam Akhoui of Lawrenceville, Ga., provided special music.

Vocalists included the groom, singing an original composition entitled “Committed,” and the bride’s parents, Bob and Betty Bilsky, singing John Lennon’s “God Bless Our Love.”

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Greece Arcadia High School.

She received a bachelor’s degree in interior design and architecture from Samford University in 2006.

She is employed by Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates Architects firm in Atlanta, Ga.

The groom, a 1999 graduate of Webb School of Knoxville, graduated in 2003 from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in voice and production studies in the performing arts.

He is worship leader at Cross Connection Church in Buford.

Maid of honor was Laura Engel of Lawrenceville.

Bridesmaids were Shelly Reed of Boston, Mass., Kristin Howard of Charlotte, N.C., Elizabeth Adams of Rochester, N.Y., Jacque Chandler of Brownsville, Texas and Ashley Skinner of Birmingham.

Best man was Andrew Duncan of Blacksburg, Va. Groomsmen were Rob Wright, the groom’s brother from Greenville, S.C., Adam Reed of Boston, Steve Madison and Ryan Shafer, both of Lawrenceville, and Brent Stover of Roanoke, Va.

After a wedding trip to Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and Florida locations, the couple is at home in Lawrenceville.

Riddick, Herring share vows
Amy Katheryn Riddick, daughter of Lease and Ruth Ellen Riddick of Princeton, N.J., and Joseph Scott Herring, son of Mel and Tiny Herring of Farragut, were married July 24 at the Hamilton Grill in Lambertville, N.J.

The bride received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Washington University and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif.

She is employed as a designer at Jules Seltzer and Associates in West Hollywood, Calif.

The groom, a graduate of the Webb School of Knoxville, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center of Design. He is a teacher at San Marino High School in Pasadena.

The couple shared their wedding vows with a favorite niece, Katie Herring of Farragut.

After a road trip across America from Niagara Falls, N.Y., to Yellowstone National Park, Calif., the couple resides in Pasadena.
