Bayani, Cole select June wedding date
Fred and Ladan Bayani of Knoxville announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Yegi Hannah Bayani, to Christopher Chilton Cole, son of Elizabeth Jaynes of White Pine and the late Charles “Buddy” Cole.

The bride-elect, a 2000 Farragut High School graduate, received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of Tennessee in 2006 and a master’s in elementary education from UT in 2006.

She teaches second-grade classes at Halls Elementary School.

The intended groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Cole and the late John T. and Katherine Bible, all of Morristown.

A 2001 Jefferson County High School graduate, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Tennessee in 2006.

He is now a project engineer for Bowen Engineering.

The couple plans a 7 p.m. wedding, Saturday, June 16, at Butterfly Gap in Maryville. After the service, they will reside in Knoxville.

Sheffey, Driscoll wed in fall
Elizabeth Barron Sheffey, daughter of David and Rosella Sheffey of Farragut, married James Joseph Driscoll III, son of James Joseph Driscoll Jr. and the late Mary Louise Steuterman Driscoll, Saturday, Oct. 14, at Concord United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry Trotter officiated. A reception for the newlyweds followed at the Fox Den Country Club.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Rodney and Mary Will Sheffey of Elizabethton and the late Louis and Helen Lichtenberg of Cedar Bluffs, Neb. A 1996 Farragut High School graduate, she received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The University of Tennessee in 2000. In 2004, she received an M.D. degree from UT’s College of Medicine. She is an anesthesiology resident at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital.

The groom is the grandson of James Joseph Driscoll of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., and the late Wanda Mae Driscoll and of Mary Miller Steuterman of Memphis and the late George Thomas.

A 1994 Germantown High School graduate, the groom in 1998 received a bachelor’s degree in finance from UT. He received a master’s degree in business administration in finance from the University of Mississippi’s College of Business in 2002.

He is employed as a Triton Health Systems manager.

Maid of honor was Allison Marie Sheffey of Knoxville, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Mary Allison Driscoll of Austin, Texas; Beth Russell Gladden and Megan Janel Fields, both of Knoxville; Kathryn Wall Olita of Clarksville, Regan Milsaps Saig of Durham, N.C., and Amy Akard Millslagle of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Jason Paul LaCroix of Memphis was best man. Groomsmen were Zade Thomas Pollock, Stephen Titus Jennings and Daniel Edward Ferguson, all of Nashville; Michael Scott Boone and David Neel Rideout III, both of Memphis and John Yates Massey of New York City, N.Y. Ushers were Sean Patrick Deeney of Memphis and Jonathan Seth Jennings of Nashville. Honorary bridal attendants were Courtney Myers Valentine of Knoxville and Carissa Guinane Seaton of Walnut Creek, Calif.

Virginia Carroll Herrick and Blake Coleman Valentine of Knoxville, sang. Readers were Catherine Chidester Deeney of Memphis and William Laury Martin of Houston, Texas.

After a trip to San Francisco, Calif., the couple will reside in Birmingham, Ala.
