Webb promoted to head up
- Thu, Feb, 22, 2007
Rob Webb has been named new Division general manager, replacing Mike Collins, who is moving with the company to Seattle.
Webb has 30 years of experience in emergency services, including 21 years as operations supervisor for Rural/Metro’s Blount County operations.
Webb took on more responsibility after Rural/Metro gained exclusive 911 contracts to provide emergency medical transportation services in both Franklin and Loudon Counties. He was named market general manager for both of those counties at that time.
In addition, Rural/Metro provides security services at the ALCOA plant in Alcoa.
“Rob's reputation for E-M-S excellence and his business expertise have been instrumental in developing new business while continuing to build upon Rural/Metro’s successes in East Tennessee,” said Bryan Gibson, Rural/Metro Southern Region president. “His promotion ensures our customers will continue to receive the quality service to which they have grown accustomed as we expand our business into new communities.”
In his new position, Webb will oversee operations in Knox, Blount, Franklin and Loudon Counties as well as the ALCOA Plant Protection service. He will continue to manage day-to-day operations in Blount County.
