Telling the “Pit” gathering Meehan was “one of the best players to come through Bearden High School,” BHS head coach Eric Turner later added, ”She works hard, and she’s just a beast on the field. She’ll just go out there and dominate a full game. ... She controls the whole field and controls how our team went.” Meehan said she was familiar with ETSU head coach Heather Henson, having played under her with the Olympic Development Program, adding the Johnson City school “was a perfect fit for me.” Pictured beside Meehan is her father, Richard Meehan.
