Six ex-FHS part of UT Vol Squad

Nick Reveiz is looking to make the depth chart as a University of Tennessee middle linebacker. Or, at least participate on special teams.

Or anything just let him hit somebody when it matters most this fall.

Itching to participate, Im getting reps in with the two [second string] a lot, but mainly I sit behind [Jerod] Mayo and Ellix Wilson, said Reveiz, a 5-foot-10, 225-pound red-shirt freshman and one of six former Farragut football standouts on UTs Volunteer (non-scholarship) squad during spring practice.

Im just taking it year-by-year, and my goal this year is to make some contributions on the field at linebacker, he added. And hopefully get in if somebody gets hurt, or back somebody up. When theyre blowing out people, maybe I can get in.

And I want to start on special teams, he added. Right now Im behind Ryan Karl, second team special protector for punts.

Reveiz is joined by ex-Admirals, Brett Barnes, a 6-foot-1, 225-pound junior linebacker; sophomore fullback Court Courtney (6-foot-1, 230), freshman holder Geoff Courtney (6-foot, 175), sophomore quarterback Dylan Dickey (6-foot-4, 200) and freshman tight-end, long-snapper Nick Guess (6-foot-3, 231).
