Rural/Metro responds to Blue Coast alarm
- Thu, Mar, 22, 2007
Only the food remained hot at a Farragut business when firefighters responding to an alarm arrived on the scene.
Rural/Metro firefighters responded to Blue Coast Burrito, 11124 Kingston Pike, at about 5 p.m., Friday, March 16.
Capt. Jeff Devlin of Rural/
Metro said the department received a call about a fire at the facility Friday.
The first unit on the scene determined the incident involved a faulty appliance, not a fire, and additional units were deemed unnecessary.
“By the time we got there, [the Blue Coast employees] had the appliance unplugged,” he said.
“There really wasn’t much to it.”
