Camp, Leonard to marry this summer
David and Christine Camp of Knoxville announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Diana Laurie Camp, to Dana Patrick Leonard, son of James and Francie Leonard of Northampton, Pa.

A 2002 Farragut High School graduate, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education from The University of Tennessee in 2006.

She is a first-grade teacher at Whitehall Elementary School is Anderson, S.C.

The intended groom, a 2002 graduate of Dorman High School in Spartanburg, S.C., graduated in 2006 from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.

He is currently completing his Masters of Science degree in computer science at Clemson University.

The couple plans a July 21, 2007 wedding at Messiah Lutheran Church in Knoxville. The couple will reside in Clemson, S.C.

Paz, Stegner married last fall
Tryna Renee Paz of Loudon and Andrew John Stegner of Knoxville joined in Holy Matrimony during an Oct. 7, 2006 ceremony at Farragut Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Robert Stelter officiated.

The bride’s parents are Richard and Connie Paz of Loudon. The bride is the granddaughter of Ramona Acosta of Antioch, Calif. and the late Richard Acosta and Albert Reyna of Oakland, Calif, and the late Maria Reyna.

She is a 1997 graduate of Nevada Union High School and a 2006 graduate of Tennessee Technological University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is a third-grade teacher at A.L. Lotts Elementary School.

The groom’s parents are John and Deb Stegner of Knoxville. The groom is the grandson of the late Harold and Judy Stegner and Walter Ortman of Minneapolis, Minn. and the late Betty Ortman.

He is a 2000 graduate of Farragut High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Tennessee, earning a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a mechanical engineer at Lockwood Greene.

Matron of Honor was Amber Roberts of Knoxville.

Best man was Brant Ivey of Knoxville. The bride’s wedding party members were Nicole Stegner of Murfreesburo and Jennifer Beckner of Knoxville. The groom’s wedding party members were George Rogers and Dustin Page, both of Knoxville.

After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Knoxville.


Mathis, Retinger wed last summer
Larryn Leigh Mathis of Powell and John Charles Retinger III of Farragut joined in Holy matrimony during a July 8, 2006 wedding ceremony in Graystone Presbyterian Church.

The bride’s parents are Michael and Nancy Mathis of Knoxville. She is a 2001 graduate of Powell High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Tennessee, earning a Master of Science degree in special education and elementary education. She is a special education teacher at Claxton Elementary.

The groom’s parents are John and Margaret Retinger of Farragut. He is a 1998 graduate of Farragut High School and a 2003 graduate of The University of Tennessee, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He is an account manager for AIM Healthcare Service, Inc.

Maid of Honor was Libby Retinger of Knoxville. Best Man was John Retinger Jr. of Farragut.

The bride’s wedding party members were Shannon Braly of Knoxville, Brittany Gambuzza of Johnson City, Caroline Dietz of Chicago, Ill., Tiffany Ryan of Orlando, Fla., Jennifer Foust and Emily Northern, both of Knoxville.

The groom’s wedding party members were Scott Holman of Atlanta, Ga., Chris Bilbrey of Durango, Colo., Matt Tuck of Memphis, and David Mathis, Chris Garman, Trey Howell, Geoff Emery, Todd Mason and Chris Phillips, all of Knoxville.

After a honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple resides in Knoxville.


Perry, Allen will marry next month
Tom and Kathy Perry of Knoxville announce the engagement and impending marriage of their daughter, Maria Rebecca Party, to L.M. “Butch” Allen, son of Margaret Ann Allen of Morganza, La.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Catherine Perry of Stephenville, Texas and the late Thomas Perry and the late William and Eleanore Dziak.

A 1999 Farragut High School graduate, she received a Bachelor of Music degree in music education, choral from Converse College in 2003.

She is a third-grade teacher at Winterberry Charter School in Anchorage, Ala.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Marcelle Allen of Baton Rouge, La. and the late Henry Allen.

The intended groom graduated from Hampden-Syndney College.

He is currently working as an ocean organizer for the Alaska Center for the Environment.

The couple plans a May 5, 2007 wedding at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

The couple will reside in Anchorage, Ala.
