Mero, Koch to marry
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mero of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Mero, to Adam Gregory Koch, son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Koch of Denver, Colo.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Madeline Lewis of Norfolk, Va., the late Lee Lewis and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Mero.

Grandparents of the groom-to-be are Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Parman of Anderson Island, Wash., and Dr. and Mrs. Richard Koch of Deming, N.M.

The bride-elect, a 2001 graduate of Farragut High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Indiana University in 2005.

She is an employee of Borders, Inc.

The groom-elect, a 2001 graduate of River Ridge High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in French horn performance from Indiana University in 2005.

He is employed as the second horn in Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the new fourth horn of Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

The wedding ceremony begins at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2007, at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church.

After a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Columbus, Ohio.

Palmere, Sparling to wed
Gail and Vincent Palmere of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Corinne Jocelyn Palmere, to Clayton Nathaniel Sparling, son of Diane Miller of Knoxville.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Joseph H. Kiefer of Tarpon Springs, Fla., the late Henrietta Boucher Kiefer, Ruth Berk Palmere of Allentown, Pa. and the late Joseph Palmere.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Farragut High School and attends Pellissippi State Technical Community College. The groom-elect is a graduate of Union County High School.

The wedding ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2007, at The University of Tennessee Gardens. After a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple will reside in Knoxville.
