• Michele G. Branton has been named deputy assistant manager for science for the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office. In this position, Branton is responsible for assisting with administration of contracts for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, in addition to providing operational oversight, managing scientific and technical programs, and evaluating contractor performance.

• Tennessee National Golf Community general manager Scott Pasolli announced Adam Foegen has been promoted to director of golf operations. With more than 18 years of private club experience, Foegen held the title of Head Golf Professional at Tennessee National since August 2006. As Tennessee National’s Director of Golf, Foegen will be responsible for the overall management of the Greg Norman Signature Golf Club. His responsibilities will include employee recruitment, designing training programs, overseeing the food and beverage operations to ensure consistent quality, coordinating outings and tournaments and assuring that all club amenities and facilities are

maintained.

• The East Tennessee Chapter of the National Contract Management Association will have the monthly membership luncheon at 11: 30 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, at the Double Tree Hotel in Oak Ridge.
