Fishing rodeo at Crosseyed Cricket
- Thu, Jun, 28, 2007
The Crosseyed Cricket near Lenoir City will host a fishing rodeo Saturday, July 7, to benefit Loudon County Habitat for Humanity.
Guests of all ages are welcome to fish for rainbow trout anytime between 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. “Come on out and bring the kids and grandkids,” says owner Jim Lockwood. “You will catch fish!”
Cane poles and bait will be provided, or guests may bring their own tackle and bait. No license is needed. Guests pay 25 cents per ounce for all fish they catch. Crosseyed Cricket staff will dress and pack the fish in ice for guests to take home. Prizes will be awarded every hour and concessions will be available for purchase throughout the day.
The Crosseyed Cricket is located off Old Highway 95, just north of I-40 at Exit 364. From Lenoir City, take Highway 321 toward Oak Ridge, crossing I-40. Watch for signs with the Crosseyed Cricket name and logo. For more information, call 865-986-5435.
