Crawford, Pigg to wed
Alton and Emma Lou Crawford of Bethel, N.C., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kiley Nicole Crawford, to James Matthew Pigg, son of George and Pam Pigg of Knoxville.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Robert Crawford of Tarboro, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grant Vanderford. He is the grandson of Leon and Maxine Shafer of Signal Mountain, Ann Pigg of Greenville, Miss., and the late George Hugh Pigg.

The bride-elect, a 1997 graduate of North Pitt High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science in accounting from East Carolina University in 2002. She is currently employed as a senior financial analyst with IBM.

The groom-elect, a 2001 graduate of Farragut High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting from The University of Tennessee in 2004. He is employed as a financial system analyst with IBM.

The wedding ceremony will be Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Bethel Baptist Church, in Bethel. Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Cary, N.C.

Willoughby, Hourigan wed in a March ceremony
Pamela Elaine Willoughby and Lt. Patrick William Hourigan joined in Holy Matrimony during a March 24, 2007, ceremony at Whitestone Country Inn. Phillip Martin of First Baptist Church, Concord, officiated.

The bride’s parents are Mickey and Susan Willoughby of Knoxville. The bride is the granddaughter of Azilee Lawhorn of Oak Ridge and NB and Laverne Willoughby of Winter Haven, Fla.

She is a 1997 graduate of Farragut High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Tennessee in 2003.

The groom’s parents are William and Linda Hourigan of Glen Lyon, Pa.

He is a 1994 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1998.

Matron of Honor was Amy Willoughby Bowman of Florence, Ky. Best Man was Lt. Christian Sewell of Plantar’s Court, Md. The bride’s wedding party members were Amanda Lawhorn of Knoxville; Frances Negus of Dallas, Texas; Mary Thomas of Albuquerque, N.M.; Katie Gunter of Higganum, Conn. and Erin Hourigan of Irvine, Calif. The groom’s wedding party members were Lt. Cmdr. Tyler Nekomoto of Lemoore, Calif.; Lt. Stephen Aldridge of Norfolk, Va.; Lt. Ken Wallace of Monterey, Calif.; Sean Reynolds of Lancaster, Pa. and Mark Willoughby of Knoxville.

After a honeymoon to Rome, Italy, the couple resides in Atsugi Naval Air Station, Japan.


Cunningham, Flanary to wed
Larry and Peggy Cunningham of Spring City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsay Latel Cunningham, to Calvin Shane Flanary, son of Judy Thompson of Knoxville.

She is the granddaughter of Teed and Leona Cunningham and Bill and Leona Porter, all of Spring City. He is the grandson of Hunter and Edna Wallace of Knoxville.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at The Lily Barn. Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Knoxville.
