Sugarwood resident gives praise
The residents of Sugarwood [subdivision] would like to express our appreciation to the Farragut Public Works crew that responded this past Sunday evening to the closure of Sugarwood Drive after a massive hickory tree fell across the main entrance road into our neighborhood.
A three-man work crew quickly responded and managed to reopen both lanes in a little more than a hour from when they were notified.
We greatly appreciate their efforts and quick response to the situation.

“Hats off” to the public works department for the town of Farragut for their immediate attention and care to the large fallen tree occluding Sugarwood Drive this morning. I am very proud to live in a community where you can depend on such fine service.
