• July 1: Police responded to a 911 hangup call from a Newport Road address. The complainant stated that he and the suspect were in a verbal argument because the suspect returned home intoxicated. The suspect was gone when officers arrived. The victim was advised of his domestic violence rights and given a card.

• July 2: Officers were dispatched to Beaty Chevrolet on a possible theft call. The complainant stated that the body shop office has had several thefts over a period of weeks. The complainant stated he had installed surveillance cameras to capture the suspects’ image. The complainant stated that the suspects had seen the cameras and covered them up as they were ransacking the office. The complainant stated that he installed two new cameras that the suspect’s couldn’t see and that’s when he got his suspect information. The complainant stated that the suspect had taken at least $100 from the office.

• July 3: Officers responded to a Turtledove Road address on a domestic call. The complainant stated that her sons were involved in a fight. The victim stated that the suspect clinched his fist and acted aggressively toward him. The victim stated that he put the suspect in a headlock to protect himself. The suspect stated that the victim was mad at him for not giving him the money that he was owed. Neither party had marks or injuries from the altercation. Officers could not determine primary aggressor in the situation.
