Billy Graham Evangelical Association to announce Knoxville crusade

A cross-section of local leadership will attend a meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, to demonstrate their cooperation in the upcoming East Tennessee Franklin Graham Festival, which will be held at Thompson-Boling Arena, April 25-27, 2008.
The invitation for Franklin Graham to hold a Festival in the area came from a broad-based group of local pastors and leaders.
Since 1989, Franklin Graham has held an average of seven Festivals each year as an evangelist for BGEA. Graham is president and CEO of the organization and continues to travel the world as president of the international Christian relief organization Samaritan's Purse.
