Bell, Boyd to wed
James and Laura Bell of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney Rae Bell, to James Harris Boyd III, son of James H. and Mary E. Boyd of Knoxville.
She is the granddaughter of Wanda and James Bell and Betty and Dr. Hubert Hill, all of Knoxville. He is the grandson of Paul A. Emmons of Charleston, S.C.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Central High School and earned an Associates of Science in Nursing degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 2007. She is currently a student at The University of Tennessee and is employed as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Marys Medical Center.
The groom-elect, a 1997 graduate of Homestead High School, Mequon, Wis., attended The University of Tennessee and is a graduate of Roane State Community College. He is currently employed as a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Knoxville Fire Department.
The wedding ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Ridge Valley Farms in Maryville. Following a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Knoxville.
