July 22: A worker at Kroger off Kingston Pike reported to police that he saw a suspect walking out of the store with at least one bottle of beer stuffed into his cargo pants. The complainant attempted to stop the suspect, but the suspect ran to his vehicle and left. The complainant was unable to get a tag number.

July 23: Police responded to a residence off Farragut Commons Drive where a woman was found in bed deceased. The complainant rents a room from the victim. He returned from vacation, found no lights off and did not see victim so he went to bed. The body was removed from the

residence.

July 23: A man was traveling west on Kingston Pike when his forklift, which was loaded on his tractor trailer, clipped the telephone line over the road causing about $400 in damage. Telephone company was notified and responded to fix the cable.

July 23: A Federal Boulevard woman reported to police that her mother was sitting in the chair in the bedroom and then went unresponsive. The daughter called 911. Rural/Metro was on the scene and confirmed that the victim was deceased.

July 24: A member of the Farragut High School Band Boosters reported to police that he found a canopy on the ground with a bent frame and a burned top. The property belongs to the Farragut High School Band Boosters and was left out overnight for band camp.
