Mixed results in girls soccer

Despite a pair of losses to Ohio schools, the Bearden Lady SoccerDawgs (8-2 record) beat GPS 5-1 during the Colliervile-Houston Invitational Friday-Sunday, Sept. 14-16.
Amy Porter led with three goals followed by Kimble Glover and Caroline Gianeselli with one each. Ashley Howarth led in assists with two.
Farragut (10-2) won at Karns 4-0 Sept. 13, led by two Casey Ulrich goals. Mindy Hopkins and Alyssa Dresen each had one. Lauren Ward led in assists (2).
FHS won at Soddy-Daisy 5-1 Sept. 10. Ulrich and Hopkins led with two goals each, Ashley Reveiz one. Assists included Morgan Plum and M.C. Suhocki.
