Harkins, Pinion to wed Saturday
Capt. Ben and Julie Harkins of Farragut announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Michelle Harkins, to John Dustin Pinion, son of Richard and Becky Norris and Ragan and Melanie Pinion of LaFayette, Ga.

She is the granddaughter of Doris Marsh Keasling of Farragut, the late Robert and Janice Marsh and the late Bud and Christine Smith. He is the grandson of David and Reba Millican and Wilson and Gypsy Pinion, all of LaFayette.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Farragut High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human ecology from The University of Tennessee in 2005. She is currently employed as an office manager for Dr. Charles Felts in Chattanooga.

The groom-elect, a 2000 graduate of LaFayette High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from North Georgia College and State University in 2004. He is employed as a teacher at LaFayette Middle School.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Following a honeymoon to the U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Chattanooga.


Culbertson, Spetar to marry this month
Eddie and Janet Culbertson of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Ryan Culbertson, to George Anthony Spetar, son of George and Phyllis Spetar of Knoxville.

She is the granddaughter of Eddie Culbertson of Wise, Va., Leska Culbertson of Wise and the late Herbert and Geroline Collier. He is the grandson of Clara Spetar of Hermitage, Pa., the late George Spetar, Josephine Santilli of Hermitage and the late Anthony Santilli.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Karns High School and earned two Bachelor of Business Administration deg-rees in logistics and transportation as well as marketing from The University of Tennessee in 2007. She is currently employed as an inbound transportation analyst for Unisource Worldwide.

The groom-elect, a 1998 graduate of Farragut High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from The University of Tennessee in 2003. He is employed as an outside sales representative for Unifirst Corporation.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Knoxville. Following a honeymoon to the Sandals Ochos Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Knoxville.
