No. 2 FHS soccer rematch expected Thursday at BHS

Not even having to play Saturday to advance in the District 4-AAA Tournament — William Blount forfeited — Farragut’s No. 2 state-ranked Lady Ads were looking at a familiar post-season scenario: No. 7-ranked Bearden.
The defending Class AAA state champion Lady SoccerDawgs were expected to host FHS at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Oct. 18, in the 4-AAA tourney title game at BHS’s Bruce Allender Field.
Meanwhile, Farragut ended the regular season with a 16-2-1 mark.
Crushing South-Doyle 8-0 on Senior Night, Tuesday, Oct. 9, Alyssa Dresen led with two goals, followed by one each by Megan Satterfield, Joslyn Johnson, Morgan Plum, Devon Shanklin, Lauren Ward and Ashley Reveiz.
Farragut won at Knoxville Catholic 2-0, Thursday, Oct. 11, led by Reveiz’s two goals.
