Harrison, Mackay wed
Lindsay Meredith Harrison and Justin Paul “J.P.” Mackay joined in Holy Matrimony during a Saturday, May 5, 2007, ceremony at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Buran Phillips officiated.

The bride’s parents are Dr. John and Margaret Harrison of Knoxville. She is the granddaughter of Herbert and Audrey Belyea and William “Bill” and Barbara Harrison, all of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

A 1997 graduate of Webb School of Knoxville, she received a Bachelor of Arts in French from Rhodes College, Memphis, in 2001. She is currently employed as a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner at In Good Hands Energy Healing Center.

The groom’s parents are Donald and Jody Mackay of Farragut. He is the grandson of Donald and Anna Mackay of Lakeland, Fla. and Paul and “Kelly” Guinn of Clearwater, Fla.

A 1997 graduate of Webb School of Knoxville, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a banker for SunTrust.

Matron of Honor was Laura Greeson Edgerton of Columbia, S.C. Best Man was Donald Mackay Jr., father of the groom.

The bride’s wedding party members were Andrea Harrison of New York City, N.Y.; Nicola Harrison of Washington D.C.; Dorothy Heron of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Meghan Mackay Holgerson of Grapevine, Texas. Flower girls were Meghan and Lianne Heron of Montreal and Elise Holgerson of Grapevine.

The groom’s wedding party members were Chris Osborn of Powell, Col. Jared Roberts of Knoxville, Bryan Holgerson of Grapevine and Bryan Lopuck of Winnipeg. Usher was William “Bucky” Wright of Strawberry Plains.

Following a honeymoon to Barbados, the couple resides in Knoxville.

Rigsby, Hughes wed in spring ceremony
Merrill Elizabeth Rigsby and Jesse Frank Hughes joined in Holy Matrimony during a Saturday, April 7, 2007, ceremony at Maple Grove Inn. The Rev. Stuart Hale officiated.

The bride’s parents are Terry and Charlotte Rigsby of Farragut. She is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Gene Bush and the late Howard and Doris Rigsby. A 2000 graduate of Farragut High School, she received a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education from The University of Tennessee in 2005. She is currently employed as a preschool teacher at Harmony Preschool in Boulder, Colo.

The groom’s parents are Dona Hughes of Crossville and Johnny Hughes of Sparta. He is the grandson of Tate Welch of Crossville, the late Yvonne Welch and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hughes of Crossville. A 1997 graduate of Cumberland County High School, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry resource management and wildlife and fishery science from The University of Tennessee in 2002. He is currently employed with the USDA Forest Service, Boulder Ranger District.

Matron of Honor was Kimsey Wolf of Atlanta, Ga. Best Man was Stuart Hale of Abingdon, Va.

Following a honeymoon to Santa Fe, N.M., the couple resides in Nederland, Colo.
