• Regal Cinemas Pinnacle Stadium 18 will host a Mr. Magoriums Activity Day from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17. Activities will include coloring pages, games, magic tricks and illusions by Michael Messing, a visit from Knoxville Zoo and a visit from Santa and his elves. Photos with Santa are $5 each and all proceeds will go to local Boys and Girls Clubs.

• Tennessee National announces appointment of Tyler Thomann as membership director for waterfront community’s Greg Norman Signature Golf Course and private club. Thomann played an instrumental role in the opening of Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter, Fla, after graduating from The University of Georgia. Thomann and his wife, Melissa, live in Farragut.
