police reports:

• Sept. 1: Upon leaving the address, officers went to a Derby Run address where complainant’s wife was requesting to speak with officers. She stated that she and her husband had been in an argument, at which time he pulled her hair, pushed her and threw her down on the driveway. She stated that her husband was the cause of the damage to the phone and some of the other property in the home but that they both were throwing objects at each other during the altercation. She stated that the altercation carried out into the garage where her husband picked up a shovel. A struggle ensued and the damage done to the car was committed by both parties. She stated that her husband pulled the phone from the wall and she felt the need to protect herself. In this case the husband said he was hit in the head with the phone by his wife. There were no signs of injuries and she refused medical treatment. She stated she intended to remain at the Derby Run address where her son lives. She was advised of her rights under Tennessee domestic violence law. Officers were unable to determine primary aggressor in this matter and both parties agreed to remain separated.
