ESK hosts ‘Night on Bourbon Street’

The Episcopal School of Knoxville will host its Fourth Annual Saints Gala, a ball, dinner and auction to benefit the school’s annual fund, from 6 p.m. until midnight, Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Downtown Knoxville Marriott.

This year’s theme is “A Night on Bourbon Street,” and features will include live and silent auction, Cajun feast and the music of Nashville’s “Burning Las Vegas.”

Ticket prices are $100 for individuals and $200 per couple. Table upgrades are available for premium seating options.

About 400 guests are expected. The Gala will begin with a cocktail reception hosted by Capital Wealth Management. Oliver Smith IV of Oliver Smith Realty and Auction Co. Inc. will lead the live auction. Auction items will include vacation getaways, a sculpture piece by artist Preston Farabow, dinners with Tennessee celebrities and sports memorabilia. There also will be an auction of student artwork, a traditional favorite of this event.

Ashley Haun and April Stouffer are co-chairing the event. Fund-raising goal this year is $130,000, with proceeds going to the Episcopal School Annual Fund and scholarships. Last year’s Gala, which was attended by 300 guests, raised more than $100,000 under the leadership of Jacque Clem.

Other Gala committee members this year are: Marianne Cobble, Elizabeth Hurst, Debbie Riddle, Kimberly Berger, Susan Howell, Carmen DiSanto, Lisa Batchellor and James and Jackie Schrubb.
