Candidate supports Charter amendments
I fully support placing the proposed nine amendments to the County Charter from the 64-member Knox Charter Petition Steering Committee on the August ballot. If appointed to the County Commission before the charter amendments come to a vote at the County Commission, I pledge to vote to place the proposed amendment on the ballot.
This is a step in the right direction in making Knox County Government more responsive to the people. Let the electorate decide if these proposed amendments are what they want for Knox County.
