• On Thursday, Jan. 24, the Farragut Board of Mayor and Alderman adopted the following ordinances: 07-40 to rezone a portion of Parcel 81, Tax Map 150, 13106 Kingston Pike , located approximately 275 feet south of Kingston Pike and fronting of S. Watt Road, from R-1 to C-1 (Tyler Lindsey, applicant) and 07-41 to rezone Parcel 8 and a portion of Parcel 9, Tax Map 162, located on the southeast corner of Evans and McFee Roads, from R-2 to OSMR (Thomas D. and Mary H. Pryse, applicants).
• Janie Owens was presented the third quarter Firstpower award by First Tennessee for her leadership and initiative.
• Green Bank, 136 Concord Road, now offers banking seven days a week. Drive-thru banking will be available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
