Leading the way among BHS commitments are quarterback/safety Dawson Halliday, who has both the talent and grades to earn a scholarship offer from Ivy League standout Yale University (New Haven, Conn.); Sean Cunningham, a defensive back/receiver who committed to Tennessee State (Nashville), and linebacker Preston Rouse, a commitment to Austin Peay (Clarksville).

Also expected to sign from head coach Brad Taylor’s troops is tight-end/free safety Logan Maynard, a commitment to Belhaven College (Jackson, Miss.).

Highlighting KCHS’s list were tight-end/defensive end Conor Irwin and runningback/defensive back Jeffery Faris, both set to follow former UT Vol offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe to Duke and play for the new Blue Devils head coach.

They join runningback/linebacker Dustin Tait (University of Buffalo) as three Division I commitments/expected signees from head coach Mark Pemberton’s team. Garrett Trusler, runningback/linebacker, was set to ink with Gardner-Webb (Boiling Springs, N.C.)
