Melton, Dean to wed
Kim and Leon Melton of Farragut announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Autumn Paige Melton, to Andrew Haynes Dean, son of Debbie and Gary Dean of Knoxville.

She also is the granddaughter of Peggy and Bobby Camp of Knoxville and Diane and Charles Melton of Apollo Beach, Fla. He is the grandson Delmar and Joyce Haynes and the Rev. Bill and Jean Dean, all of Knoxville.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Farragut High School and graduated from The University of Tennessee’s College of Com-munications in 2005. She is currently employed as on-air talent for WIVK radio and is vice president of Diva K. Minerals and DKM Skincare.

The groom-elect, a 2000 graduate of Bearden High School, earned a degree in organizational management from Tusculum College in 2005. He is currently employed by Delmar Haynes Pontiac and Jeep GMC.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 5, at Frist Baptist Concord, Church, with a reception to follow at Fox Den Country Club.

Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Knoxville.

Thomas, Ling wed
Elissa Mae Thomas and Martyn James Ling joined in Holy Matrimony during a Friday, Jan. 5, ceremony held at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Mike Kuhn officiated. A reception for the couple was held at Rothchild Event Catering.

Elissa’s parents are Lindon and Tisha Thomas of Knoxville. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Taussig of Manhattan, Kan., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thomas of Ponca City, Okla.

A 2000 Bearden High School graduate, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in voice and instrumentals from Carson- Newman College in 2004. She is currently employed as a music instructor at George Washington Academy in Casablanca, Morocco.

Martyn’s parents are Denis and Daphne Ling of New Market, United Kingdom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs Ken Kersey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Rose, all of England.

The groom is a graduate in computer science from Reading University in England and is the president of Orthomeo.

The Groom’s wedding party members were Best Man, Jon Harper of England, Neil Ling and Jon Adams of England, Stephen Thomas of Baltimore, Md., and Mark Thomas of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Following a honeymoon in Pigeon Forge, North Caolina and England, the couple resides in Cassablanca.
