presstalk 671-TALK

• I’m curious as to why, at the intersection of Campbell Station and Grigsby Chapel/Parkside, that they haven’t added a second left-turn lane to go from Campbell Station onto Parkside towards Turkey Creek? I’m wondering if this will be part of their plan when there’s a red-light camera there? But there used to be two left-turn lanes down there at Kingston Pike and Campbell Station. There should be an extra one around.

• I just got the [farragutpress] and read how [a Farragut town leader] was given a “Guest View” on his statement regarding how the Farragut Primary, Inter-mediate and Middle schools are bursting at the seams, and how he is the hero and came across the idea to build a new school off McFee Road. I’d like to know where [the town leader] was eight months ago when six neighborhoods in the town of Farragut were rezoned to Hardin Valley Academy? I’d like to know why he thinks now he can step up to the plate? … I’d like to know where you were eight months ago when all these families and parents were up in arms about the Hardin Valley Academy rezoning? … I blame the town of Farragut government for allowing so many neighborhoods to be built in Farragut for the overcrowding at the schools. Come on people, it’s ridiculous. Stop allowing all these neighborhoods to be built.
