FHS, ’Dawgs, UT hosting Sportsbelle

A 16-team high school baseball field from the Tri-Cities to Nashville is in Knox County for the annual Sportsbelle Tournament, Thursday-Saturday, March 27-29, at Farragut’ John Heatherly Field, Bearden’s Garner Field and UT’s Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The Admirals, 7-0 record entering the week, are one of four Pool A team, while the Bulldogs, 7-1 to start the week, are one of four Pool C squads.
Farragut will host Tennessee High at 5 p.m. Thursday, travel to UT to face White House at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, then host Morristown East at 8:30 p.m., Friday.
Bearden will start with a 6:15 p.m., Thursday game at UT against Gallatin, then host Gibbs at 7:15 p.m. Friday and also host Science Hill at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.
Semifinal rounds among the four pool champions are set for UT at 3 and 5:15 p.m., Saturday.
Championship game is set for 7:30 p.m., Saturday, in Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Pool consolation rounds are at 3 and 6:15 p.m., Saturday, at both FHS and BHS.
