Kotowski, Vest make nine HVA coaches hired

Add two more names to the growing list of coaching/teaching hires at Hardin Valley Academy.

Erin Kotowski comes from Karns High School and will become swimming and diving head coach, HVA athletic director George Ashe announced. Kotowski will teach biology.

Nancy Vest, also coming from KHS, will coach tennis and dance team. She will teach chemistry.

These newest hires join seven HVA head coaches already on board: Wes Jones, football, a former assistant at Austin-East; Keith Galloway, boys basketball, with his wife, Jennifer Galloway, as girls basketball head coach. The couple served as assistant coaches at Cleveland High School.

Other head coaches: Jeffrey Nash, wrestling, coming from Bearden Elementary; Michael McLean, boys soccer, from Karns High School; Bryan Brown, boys track and field and cross country, coming from North Carolina, and Anne Troutman, golf, also coming from Karns High.

Ashe and HVA administrators still have head coach openings that include cheerleading, volleyball, baseball, softball and girls track and field.
