Top-seed Admirals, No. 2 BHS to host District 4-AAA Tournament

Top-seed Farragut and No. 2 Bearden will host opening round play in the District 4-AAA baseball tourney this week.
The Ads host No. 8 Lenoir City beginning at 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 2. Bearden will host No. 7 South-Doyle also at 4:30 Friday. Winners, which also include seeds Nos. 3 versus 6 in Bearden’s bracket and Nos. 4 versus 5 on FHS’s side, play at 10 a.m., May 3, losers at 12:30 p.m. Six surviving teams from each bracket come to FHS Monday, May 5, to resume the double-elimination tourney. Finals are Wednesday, May 7, with top two teams advancing to the Region 2-AAA tourney.
